My trip to Top Gear Live at Birmingham NEC…

I spent last Sunday at the Top Gear Live show at the NEC Arena in Birmingham. I arrived at around 9.30am and the car park was already rammed full of cars and people waiting to get into the show! I had my VIP guest pass ready in my hand to walk straight in! The show was massive this year and was a very good turn out. Some of the cars were just awesome, from an E30 M3 BMW to the brand new Gumpert Apollo. There was also a Classic Car section for all the old time favourites like the E-Type Jaguar! It was absolutely amazing to see so many cars in one show on all these classy stands.

By lunch it was time to go into the VIP area for some food. My mum bought us VIP tickets for my birthday so that we had the luxury of a three course meal, free drinks, front row seats in the show where Jeremy Clarkson, James May, Richard Hammond and of course the Stig were going to act live and perform some cool stunts!

The live show was on through out the day, we went in to see the show at 2pm and had seats right at the front to check out the celebs in action! It was just like on T.V, Clarkson was very funny and they all performed many stunts for the audience. At last the one and only Stig made an appearance. He was very impressive with the skills he pulled off!! Everyone was joining in cheering and clapping through out the show, it was great!

By the end of the day my camera was jam packed full of pictures of probably every single car there! My legs were aching and it was time to get one last free drink before it was time to hit the road back home!

    it was a brilliant day, i would recommend going to anyone!! didn’t get any signatures but i got up nice and close to the top gear stars so its all good!!!

    I went on the Saturday and loved it, the Top Gear show was amazing and the cars on show weren’t half bad either ;)

    i went on the 14th with the vip tickets, the whole day was awesome i loved every minute of it and i will be going again next year :)

    Nice to see that someone so young can recognise a proper sports car when they see one ,,yes its the E type to whichI refer.. Well done . But try and remember we have other proper sports cars in Britain like Morgan and MG.

    I went to the birmingham one on the 13th!
    was amazing!
    jus abit bummed i didnt get to meet them!
    but brilliant day!

    I WANT THE APOLLO!!!!! And the Stig is…… well, I do know, but I dont know if I should say. He’s a rally champion, an Indy 500 participant, and is on Top Gear alot… NOT as the Stig! He was in the football (fox vs aygo) and the first round of football…. but i can’t remember who the Aygos faced, and raced an MTX boarder down a hill in Tomi Makkinens car, and another HUGE off roader!! can you remember who it is??
