Limited edition Rota Slipstream wheels in exclusive Candy Colours
Posted on 14. May, 2009 by Nick in Alloy Wheels
Rota Wheels have released the lightweight Slipstream in 15″x7 in a funky see-through coloured coating of blue and purple. They call this process ‘Candification’ which in fairness does look pretty sweet. (No pun intended).
These Spy shots are for immediate release and indication of style and only. Pro photos will follow, but we think it’s more important to get you the news fast.

The Candy Blue and Candy Purple Slipstream has only been made available in the following fitments.
15×7.0 ET40 - available to buy on special order.
We have been running an exclusive on the Rota GT-3 with a candy blue and Rota GT-3 with candy red lip and they have been really popular. What do you think about this latest Slipstream addition?

Does anyone else thing that coloured wheels might be going a step too far?
Getting into some serious Marmite territory here i think.

The blue wheels would look awesome on hardcore track car. I can picture them on a stripped out EG Civic….
…but the pink ones? NO! Just a crap colour!

I’ve been advised that we can now get any Rota Wheel painted any colour for £50 a wheel and the quality is OEM. So lets get some colour coding underway folks!

I’m with duncan on these guys, i do think the blue ones would look rather awesome on a track car, but the pink ones are a shockingly bad colour….
…i’m sure someone loves them though!
