At POTN, we love Pipercross. Were all using them here, being new to POTN and having a standard Honda, I decided that I had to do something to it and the first mod I decided on was to make it breath better. I opted for the Pipercross foam, induction kit.

Why the Pipercross? Well the pipercross filter is a lot larger then the cars standard panel filter, the filters about 30% larger than anything else on the market and it can be taken out for easy cleaning. Another two reasons why you should fit an open induction kit filter;

  1. Filter for life, once the Venom kit is installed a yearly service will see it good for life.
  2. Increases BHP and torque.
  3. Engine bay bling, the standard EP airbox isn’t the best looking thing, the Viper will make your friend give your engine bay a second look.

We all fit induction kits with the aim that they give you more power. Its fair to say this has. I can’t tell you the physical power increase because I haven’t put it on the dyno, but it feels better to drive.

So, how is it? Well I love it! I’m really happy I fitted the pipercross about two months ago now it revs so much more freely with a good pull in midrange. My favourite bit is the noise, kicks in at the start of the midrange and keeps going through to around 5K.
