How Quickly Will You Receive The Wheels?

All of the wheels under this deal are in stock and ready to go immediately. Delivery will typically be 2-3 working days from order which means you will receive them if needed before a show on the following weekend! If you choose tyres with the wheels, please allow 3-5 days for delivery as tyres will need to be mounted and fully balanced prior to being dispatched. With all rim and rim/tyre packages you will receive a full fitting kit to mount the wheels to your car including brand new wheel bolts or nuts and a set of centering rings.

Who Are FuelTech By Shutt?

FuelTech are an incredibly well established motorsport engineering company who produce track and drag racing components from stand alone engine management systems to wideband AFR gauges and data logging kits. Shutt were chosen to collaborate with FuelTech to produce a full line of track derived interior components and produced this amazing line of Steering Wheels, Pedals & Gearknobs.

How Will These Components Improve My Car & What Do I Receive?

Steering Wheels

FuelTech by Shutt steering wheels and interior components are probably the most hardcore motorsport inspired equipment we have seen. The FTR is the only pure metal steering wheel we have seen been fitted to a car in the aftermarket industry. These steering wheels are manufactured from 100% aluminium for rigidity and to reduce weight. This is taken into extremes with the FTR-A steering wheel which, like the FTR range is aluminium however is perforated to be ultra light weight. By doing this, Shutt have created a steering wheel which is very versatile allowing faster movement to improve handling accuracy and give a much stronger feel of the road through the wheel increasing car control. With all Shutt steering wheels you will receive all of the items require to fit to your existing aftermarket boss kit. All of the fitting screws are included so it can be fitted straight out of the box. Please note, all horn push buttons etc are not included and must be purchased separately for road use.

Pedals

FuelTech pedals are also available from us, all pedal sets are manufactured from high quality stainless steel which look fantastic aesthetically whilst giving long last support which is the first priority during performance driving. The brake and clutch pedals are horizontally brushed giving a “sticky” pad for secure and fast foot movements during fast driving whereas the accelerator pedal is vertically brushed giving a smooth feel which you can slide your foot over quickly during fast down shifting (double de-clutching etc). With these you will receive the pedals and all of the fitting screws required to secure them to your existing pedal base.

How Quickly Can You Receive The Items & What Is The Warranty?

Our first shipment of FuelTech by Shutt will be arriving to us on 23/03/2012 and we will thereon be able to offer our next working day delivery with DPD couriers. Once the item has left our premises we will be able to provide you with a tracking number and this will give you an hour window of time on the day of delivery ensure that you will not have to spend your whole day waiting in the for parcel to arrive. All FuelTech by Shutt products carry a 12 month purchasers warranty against finish defects. We will not cover this if the products are used for motorsport use only.

Ultra Racing have a massive following in motorsport and fast road circles. We’re extremely excited to bring these guy on board for 2012 and will be able to offer their complete range of strut braces, wing braces, ARB’s and more. Ultra Racing pride themselves on producing one piece chassis braces which reduces flex & improves safety, stability, handling aswell as having a great aesthetic look. There are other braces on the market, usually three piece bars which you will receive one bar and two turret mounts bolted together. These have major stress point on the bolts and serve a fraction of what they’re designed to do. So which one would you go for? A thoroughly secure one piece brace or a bolted together one which could fail under load?

All Ultra Racing bracing comes with a white finish which will look great matched up to silicone hosing or polished engine bay parts, interior parts and suspension components under the car such as braces, ARB’s and tie bars etc.

So recently we unveiled our latest new brands for this year, DGR Coilovers and this weekend we fitted them our Barry’s own Eunos Roadster! Saturday brought glorious weather (for once) so we set out swapping the old springs and shocks for these shiny fully adjustables and after 4 hours or so of cursing at old bolts and seized goodness we got them on. Pictures speak more than words so I’ll let them do the talking!

Fitted, Cleaned & A New Hardtop

I have had the DGR coilovers fitted for 4 weeks now and i am mega impressed with them. With 30 way adjustment capabilities i can adjust it to suit my car and my driving requirements. I wanted my car low and the DGR’s give you that and then more. Due to my car being low i have chosen the hardest setting front and rear. Just looking forward to fitting the Ultra Racing gear to compliment the Coilovers and make my car handle like a dream.

The time has finally come to unleash our first of many new brands for 2012! It has been so difficult to keep quiet about these over the past few months but finally we can tell you all about DGR Suspension. These coilovers have gained a massive following in the USA and popularity within many different car enthusiast circles and can now supply the exact same quality kits to the UK market.

How will these improve your car?

DGR Coilovers feature full 30 way adjustable monotube dampers allowing you precise control over exactly how stiff you want the coilovers to be on the road or track. These are perfect for track days as you can take the vehicle to the track on a softer road setting then wind it all the way up to full stiffness for incredibly responsive handling via simply turning the upper mount adjuster. Another major benefit of these too is the threaded height adjustment body of the coilover, this allows you to preset the ride height of the vehicle via the steel lower mount without adjusting the length of the spring itself. This means that the spring rate and travel is not effect by raising or lowering the vehicle giving you consistent handling and performance unlike coilovers where you would adjust the spring platform to change ride height.

When will these be available and are you covered?

At this moment in time delivery times on the coilovers will be around 4 weeks from the date of order. All DGR coilovers come with a full purchasers lifetime warranty meaning you are covered for any manufacturer defects and will be entitled to replacement items so long you are the original purchaser of the kit.

The EBC Pro-lite X disc is an ultra light floating rotor for sports road bikes and road racers. These are a fantastic upgrade from standard rotors and offer, the floating rotor allows the outer disc friction material to heat up and expand without warping or rivet lock occuring (Rivet lock is the term used when rotors heat up under heavy braking and the rotor blade contacts the (normally circular) rivets that separate the inner rotor hub and the outer rotor blade.) This completely eliminates this problem which effects nearly 100% of cases where the rotor has warped/distorted causing braking vibration which means the rotors life is extended as well as providing a much more efficient and consistent way of braking.

The XC series discs are identical to the X Pro-Lite however these have a contoured outer rotor disc. These are the strongest and lightest road sports disc available today. Below are the reasons for why these discs are so special for fast road and sports bikes:

1. Contoured outer rotor reduces weight by 7.5%.
2. New German mill rolled heat treated stainless steel rotor blade.
3. Vertical scraper slot system removes dirt, dust and debris efficiently away from the braking area.
4. Unique fully overlapping vent hole pattern reduces weight, cleans disc blade and helps deglaze pads which prevents fade and ensures a long life of brakes.
5. New Patented Stainless Steel SD (square drive) button drive system. This eliminates brake rotor distortion and vibration (enhancing braking efficiency and life).
6. Ultra lightweight ductile alloy centre hub.
7. Use of SD system allows less drive buttons, with EBC there are 6 to each rotor.
8. Full stainless components, no rusty parts.
